Is your bunny bored?
1. Pick your rabbit dandelions to eat in a pesticide free zone
2. Read a story to your rabbit- they love to hear your voice!
3. Give your rabbit a massage
4. Put their hay in an empty tissue box and watch them toss it around
5. Buy a variety of organic greens at the grocery store to surprise them with when you get home
6. Hide their treats or veggies around their cage/pen/room and let them find the goodies!
7. Put on some relaxing music and spend the afternoon petting your rabbit
8. Give your rabbit an ice pack or frozen water bottle on a hot summer day
9. Give your rabbit a beanie warmed in the microwave if it is cold outside
10. Open the windows when it is nice outside and let your bunny enjoy the breeze
11. Put your rabbit on a leash and harness and let them walk around in the backyard
12. Start growing your own parsley, mint, or basil for your rabbit to eat
13. Make your rabbit a pretty picture to put on the wall where it sleeps
14. Give them an apple branch to chew on
15. If you are in school, your rabbit can help you study by you "teaching" them what you have learned. If not- tell them about your day!
16. Fill a box with hay or their bedding and let them dig
17. Rabbits are very smart- set up an obstacle course with books and boxes and motivate them with treats
18. Lie on the ground and let your rabbit climb all over you (they love it when you get down on their level)
19. Next time you are watching TV bring your rabbit with you and pet him/her
20. Give them an old book or newspaper to shred
21. Play hide-and-go-seek with your rabbit! Peek out at them from around a corner or behind a chair, and they may curiously run up to you. When they do, run away, or if they run away then playfully chase them
22. Put a cardboard box in their play area to chew and run around in
23. If you want to teach them to do tricks, look up clicker training
24. Stuff a paper bag with hay and treats then tie it and give it to them
25. Give your rabbit a ball to play with (not too small to swallow)
26. Start growing grass on a tray to give to them (this way you know it's safe)
27. Give your rabbit a blanket or towel to burrow in or put one over them so that they have to climb out. Make sure they do not chew on it.
28. Give your bunny a cardboard tube like a toilet paper roll
29. Stuff a toilet paper roll with hay
30. Make funny faces at your rabbit- this can get them to become playful.
31. Start jumping around and dancing (just be careful not to kick your rabbit), your rabbit will be entertained and may start binkying themselves!
32. Buy your rabbit simple bird and cat toys- they love to toss these around.
33. Buy your rabbit a shorter kitty condo so that your rabbit can get up on a higher level and enjoy the view.
34. If your rabbit is in a pen or cage, make sure it is in a busier area so they do not get lonely and can watch you walking around doing your daily tasks.
